COMPLEXION TRENDS
1. Extremelly Weel-Cared & Radiant Skin
Complexion will stand out for its appearance, healthier than ever. Multitasking foundation formulas, such as our EE CREAM Nº1, allow skin to look luminous and, at the same time, be perfectly cared.

A trick?
Apply the bronzing powder just above the hollow of your cheek (NEVER on the inside) and then “master the brush”, that is, stretch and blend bronzing powder as best as possible towards the upper part of your cheekbones, and voila!



2. Soft Sculpting
Ultra-light look is the new makeup trend for the sunny days to come.

The idea is to show off a good skin, glowing and maximally moisturized, with the golden or tanned hue that you get from sun (but beware! not too dark).

With this premise, makeup artists are replacing foundations with color creams as our EE CREAM Nº1 and incorporating bronzing powders, such as the new TERRANOVA BRONZING POWDER Nº501, to be used as blushes and shadows.

What is “soft sculpting”?
“Soft sculpting” is a technique to “sculpt” or contour your face in a gentle way, highlighting, above all, the “bones” (cheekbones and jaw).

It is about playing with the chiaroscuro, highlighting the area of the triangle of light (with the same cosmetics).

The goal is to get a complete, ultra-natural look with just a few products. As the name suggests, it is about sculpting your face in a delicate and much subtler way than its predecessor version, the contouring.

1. 90S LIPS
Compared to the matte finishes of previous seasons, this season, resurfaces the super-glossy trend on lips of the 90s, with glossy formulas, such as those of the 2 new KEENWELL lip glosses No. 72 and No. 73.

2. Visible Liner
If for a while, visible lip liner was considered a makeup mistake, now it’s back from the 90s too, especially along with lipsticks in brown shades, like the new Keenwell # 53 lipstick.





3. Full Color Lips
Bright and daring colors will come back stronger than before to our lips. Radiant corals (like the new KEENWELL Nº 52 lipstick), reds, magentas, purples (like the new KEENWELL Nº 73 lipgloss) and oranges will all have their moment this new year.

1 Euphoria Effect
The Euphoria effect (the famous HBO series) lives on. Graphic eye makeup with glitter, such as the new KEENWELL mono shadow Nº. 64, and even the applications around the eyes, will have an absolute role in 2022 summer nights.



2 Neón Glance
This season, there are no limits to your gaze when it comes to playing with color and the spotlight is taken by striking lines in neon colors.

3 Metallic Shadows
2022 will also be the year of metallic eyeshadows, like the new KEENWELL 4 COLOR palette Nº. 505, with 4 highly pigmented, incredibly bright and long-lasting colors.
This trend is fully customizable: you can create a simple metallic detail, slightly illuminating inner corner of the eye, or opt for a sophisticated metallic smokey eyes.

4 Graphic Liners
Graphic eyeliner will continue to be popular this year.
A simple stroke can become quite a statement of intent, especially if it is a FLOATING EYELINER.
Catwalks, fashion editorials, “influencers” and makeup artists have made it fashionable to become a street trend too.
This eyeliner moves away from the upper lash line, and remains “floating” on the eyelid, parallel to the eye. It can be a straight line or follow the shape of the eye or the eyelid. It can be drawn in color or simply black..



5 Straight lines
Straight lines floating eyeliner in a is perfect for eyes without depth, with flat eyelids, without too much dimension, without a prominent crease.



6 Twiggy style
This type of eyeliner is ideal for eyes with more dimension, with a highly defined mobile eyelid and upper eyelid.
You can also connect this floating V-shaped Twiggy eyeliner with the lash line.
It matches all types of eyes.

In small eyes, better go for a floating cat eye, connected to the lash line, that will make your eyes look longer.



How to do it?
Draw a middle line down at the bottom (starting from almost the centre of the eye), and then duplicate it at the top. Then fill in the space in between with a well-blended beige eyeliner so that it merges into the skin and helps create contrast between the two lines.
To add modernity and sophistication, keep the rest of the look neutral, with a natural complexion, an, almost imperceptible, nude shadow and colourless, perfectly moisturized, lips (we recommend the new KEENWELL LIP BALM).



7 Floating Cat eye

This type of eyeliner looks good on “bulging” eyes, because, with it, we achieve an “almond shape” effect. It is also very flattering for hooded, droopy eyes, as it provides a visual lifting effect.
Try doing it in black, with neon colors or with several combined colors.
It can also be traced separately from the eyelid, almost at the temples, for a super modern and fresh look.

What color of floating eyeliner flatters the most?
It depends on personal tastes and the color fullness we choose:
  • For dark brown and black eyes: any color.
  • For brown, honey and green eyes: aubergine, garnet, pink tones.
  • For blue eyes: black, brown, gold and red.
TRICK 1
For floating eyeliner to look great, better to keep the rest of your makeup needs fairly neutral. A natural complexion and a nude hue on your lips make the perfect pair for this eyeliner.
TRICK 2

8 Baby Cat-eye
Another graphic proposal that will success this new season is the so-called “Baby Cat-Eye” (“kitten’s eyes”) as it is very youthful, being less thick and less “heavy” than a traditional “Cat-Eye”.

The “Baby Cat-Eye” is a lighter version of the classic and (too) thick “cat-eye”. It is narrower, stars in the middle of the eye and goes outward with a smaller “flick” that provides a subtle movement and a natural lift to the eyelid.
